A friend gave me a really cool Lab Series L9 combo. I plugged in my guitar, hit one chord and knew I was ready to record. Found a beat lying around, produced by my cousin Marc, put it in a loop and just jam along.
The song fell into my lap instantly. I simply added more layers.
Next day I recorded a similar track with a variation on that same beat. Whilst mixing them I wondered whether I could marry them somehow.
And here we are. One of my favorites.
